TransGas recognizes the unique skills and contributions that each employee brings to the workplace - a workplace that is inclusive of all individuals, including: *Women, People with Disabilities, Visible Minorities and Aboriginal people.

TransGas’s commitment to diversity is represented through the Joint Diversity Committee. This committee was established in partnership with the Communication, Energy & Paperworkers’ Union, Local 649 to assist in the promotion of company’s diversity strategy which focuses on education, employment and partnerships by:

  • Promoting and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment;

  • Providing education and awareness on a diverse workforce; and by

  • Delivering diversity presentations and information sessions.

TransGas measures our diversity progress on an ongoing basis. We monitor internal placements and job tenure; use work benefits and programs; examine employee turnover and absenteeism; and participate in diversity training.

TransGas is proud of its efforts in fostering a diverse workforce, and of the participation of all employees in these efforts. By educating our workforce on our individual differences, developing key partnerships internally and externally, and striving to employ a workforce that represents the demographics of Saskatchewan, SaskEnergy takes a role as a leading energy company.
