TransGas Limited (TransGas) net income for 2009 was $20 million.

Net income was $3 million higher than 2008, primarily as a result of higher transportation revenue offset by lower revenue from commercial operations and lower margin from gas marketing. TransGas increased rates by an average of 12.5% February 1, 2009 primarily due to a reduction in transportation flows on the TransGas transmission system.
