All-Time Record for Saskatchewan Field Receipts On Friday April 9th, receipts of Saskatchewan production onto the TransGas pipeline system hit a new record of 772 Terajoules (TJs)/ day or the equivalent of 747 million standard cubic feet per day. This record surpasses the previous record set on December 23, 2003 of 766 TJs/ day. Prior to the December 2003 record, the last time production hit 765 TJs/day was in January 1995. TransGas expects to see continued record breaking Saskatchewan production levels throughout the summer of 2004 as producers complete their drilling and development programs. As reported previously, the major reason for this record breaking production is the 122` TJs/ day currently being produced from the Shackleton gas reserve area, northwest of Swift Current. Although the Shackleton area is a major contributor to the record, TransGas is also seeing new production from a number of new tie-in points all along the western side of the province. In the last year, TransGas has added ten (10) new receipt points outside of the Shackleton area. All this is great news for TransGas and our customers as increased flows on the pipeline system help to maintain highly competitive rates for our services. For further information please contact:
