September 28, 2009 TransGas Alberta Receipt Contracting TransGas is currently exploring service options to ensure that we have efficient transportation services to meet the growing energy needs of our Province. While Saskatchewan receipt volumes continue to decline, our provincial energy requirements continue to increase and the ability to bring gas in from Alberta efficiently will be a requirement. TransGas is currently discussing potential improvements with our Customer Dialogue Group. Summaries of the discussion are available within the Customer Dialogue section under the Newsroom tab at www.transgas.com. While we are exploring our options, effective immediately, TransGas is temporarily closing our queue at Empress, Cold Lake, Unity and Devonia Lake for firm receipt transportation service with evergreening rights. This will provide the maximum flexibility for us in designing and implementing any new service for our customers. TransGas will continue to meet your transportation needs from the Alberta border by offering one year, non-evergreening receipt transportation, short term firm receipt and interruptible contracts on a first come, first served basis. TransGas will continue to work with our Customer Dialogue Group and hopefully we will soon be able to again offer firm evergreening capacity out of Alberta.
