You must obtain permission to perform work over, near or across Transgas
natural gas transmission pipelines.
To do so follow this process:

Contact Sask1stCall
and request a locate of all buried utilities in your work area.

If you have a written project plan indicating where your excavation or constuction
project will be relative to the TransGas pipeline, please fax or email your request,
along with your project plan to TransGas Crossing Co-ordination.

In order to obtain permission, TransGas requires the following information with your request:

The proposed type of work.

A sketch/drawing of where the work will be done in proximity to the
TransGas pipeline.

Land location including: quarter section, township, range and meridian.

Applicant's name, mailing address, phone number and fax number.

Once all the information is obtained, TransGas will review your request for
pipeline integrity and safety concerns.

Applications must be approved prior to work activity. TransGas will issue a permit if your
request has been approved.
The permit will stipulate any conditions required and indicate the TransGas contact
person for your project. You are required to have your permit and your
Sask1stCall ticket number
with you at the work site.
A TransGas Representative must be on site at all times during construction or excavation
within 10 metres of the high pressure natural gas pipeline(s).
