NIT-to-TEP

TransGas is providing notice of upcoming outages on interconnecting pipelines. The restrictions may result in an impact to TransGas’ ability to meet NIT to TEP firm contracts. TransGas is working closely with the associated pipelines regarding timing and volumes impacted. During these planned outages, TransGas will attempt to coordinate system outages to avoid future outages in the area.

There has been an update since the last notice sent on February 25, 2021. The updates are shown in bold text below.

RESTRICTION:
Gas Days March 2, 2021 – March 11, 2021 TC Energy Restrictions

TC Energy will be performing maintenance near the Unity border point. Based on current analysis and risks, NIT to TEP Customers will be restricted to a per cent of their firm contracted capacity as noted in the table below. Note that this restriction estimate is subject to change (higher or lower); TransGas will be evaluating the situation daily and all efforts will be made to reduce customer impact. 
 

Dates (Gas Day) All firm NIT to TEP contracts will be curtailed to:
March 2 & March 3, 2021 100%*
March 4 - March 11, 2021 91%

*there is no firm contracted capacity restriction; however, it is kept on list as restriction estimates are subject to change.

POTENTIAL RESTRICTION:
Gas Days March 16 - March 31, 2021 TC Energy Restrictions

TC Energy will be performing maintenance near the Unity border point. Potential exists that NIT to TEP Customers may be restricted to 91% of firm contracted capacity. Note that this percentage restriction estimate is subject to change (higher or lower). TransGas will be working diligently to minimize the impact to NIT to TEP shippers.
